‘Contagion’ medical adviser Dr. Ian Lipkin says he has coronavirus

The esteemed clinical adviser behind the pandemic film “Contagion,” Dr. Ian Lipkin, has discovered he has contracted the coronavirus.

Lipkin, director of the Center for Infection and Immunity at Columbia College, who advised director Steven Soderbergh on the real looking 2011 film, uncovered his situation soon after talking about the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on Fox’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight” on Tuesday.
